Gastronomic battle

August chef and co-owner Beth Ashton will battle sous chef  Peter Tromp with “competing” menus as part of the restaurant’s third annual fundraising dinner for McNally House Hospice. August co-owner Clayton Gillie attempts to hold back the duelling pair. Only a handful of reservations are left for this Sunday’s event. Call 905-563-0200 for details on the $85/person event.
